Türker ACAROĞLU

M. Turker Acaroglu Collection, the librarians-in-law who pioneered the development of Turkish Librarianship and Turkish Libraries, has been donated with the contributions of her valuable family and exhibited in a private room where she serves with her precious books on the lower floor of our library.

Prof. Dr. Nermi UYGUR

Professor Dr. Nermi Uygur Library is in a separate section in the library. Books in the collection are not lent, but are used in the library.

The collection includes mainly literature publications, linguistics, art and history. While the language of the publications is German and French, there are also Turkish and English sources.

Dr. Şükrü ASLANYÜREK

Şükrü Aslanyürek was born in Kayseri in 1952 and graduated from the Department of Business Administration of Boğaziçi University in 1976. He received his MA from Strathclyde University in Scotland and his Ph.D. in Sociology from Istanbul University.

Turkey Retail Industry Şükrü Aslanyürek of the leading names on various topics, has donated many artifacts to our library.

The works he donated are exhibited in the Central Library Collection.

Nail GÜRELİ

Nail Güreli Library is in a separate section in the library.

Turkish politics, Turkish history, journalism, literature, art and sociology are included in the library which contains valuable collections in terms of Turkish press history.

A newspaper archive published in local media is also displayed in the library.

printed journalism in Turkey, titled discipline issues involving media publications are included in the current library.

İsmet KÜR

İsmet Kür is a Turkish literature teacher, writer and writer of radio and theater plays. He was born on September 29, 1916, in Istanbul. She completed her education at Edirne Girls Teacher's School and Gazi Education Institute, Literature Department.

Dr. Halidun Seba ŞEN

The linguist The Halidun-Seba Şen Library is in a separate section in the library.

Reference sources are also included in the collection of linguistics, psychology, mythology, philosophy, history, literature and so on. There are books containing subject areas.

The language of the publications is French, English and Turkish.

Prof. Dr. Ayla OKTAY

Professor Oktay since 1965, especially in pre-school education, girls' education, discipline, guidance in primary education, comparative education and the history of Turkish education. in the fields of applied and theoretical studies in the field and presented papers in domestic and international meetings, published papers and books. In addition, it has also contributed to the academic development of the field through the elements raised in the doctoral and graduate programs that it opened in the field of pre-school education.

Arif Hikmet PAR

He graduated from Ankara Gazi Institute of Education Department of Literature (1946). He worked as a teacher in various cities of the country and as a deputy branch manager in the Ministry of National Education. His first poems appeared in Yeni Mecmua (1940). He provided a special place among the poets who gave the best examples of the epic genre in contemporary poetry.

Armağan YÜKSEL

He was born in 1951. After graduating from TED Ankara College and Hacettepe University, Department of Economics, he received his doctorate's degree in scholarship from England. She started her professional life in the private sector. In retirement, he gave himself to his favorite endeavors: travel, reading, language learning, and aviation. Extremely fond of animals and nature, Armağan Yüksel left the books, which were close to 5000 in history, except for Çapak (his cat) and Robin (his dog). If these books, which exhibit the life of an elite person, will be a source of light even for a single student, his family will be happy as well.
